Sherwood Anderson

As you may or may not know, I am a fan of the American author Sherwood Anderson (1876-1941). As with most people, my first encounter with Anderson was through his perceptive and moving 1919 short story cycle Winesburg, Ohio. Since then, I have basically written the article for that book on Wikipedia. Working the wiki article up to “Good Article” status forced me to read an enormous amount of literary criticism on Anderson and Winesburg. Since then, I have created and done extensive work on the Wikipedia article for Anderson’s second novel Marching Men (also a “Good Article”), and have created stubs for a number of other Sherwood Anderson works. Sometime, I hope to contribute work on Sherwood Anderson to scholarly journals. In the meantime, and to that end, I’m going to use this page to compile useful online resources on Anderson. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list, however if you see anything interesting online that isn’t on here do email me about it.
